Bold is a full stack clone of Italic, an e-commerce website, where users can browse and search for products, as well as leave reviews. Built with the following technologies: Ruby, Ruby on Rails, React.js, Redux.js, HTML, CSS / SCSS, ActiveRecord, PostgreSQL, Jbuilder, JavaScript, Postman, Git, AWS, and Heroku.
Mango Music is a social media platform in which users can build connections over what they love the most, music! This program utilizes the MERN stack, as well as other technologies such as: Spotify API, Genius API and Lyrics Ovh API. Users can search for tracks, discover new tunes, listen to song previews, and most importantly, share their thoughts and start a discussion about a particular piece.
A platform game where users can jump from platform to platform, climbing higher while dodging obstacles. Built with Vanilla JavaScript, Canvas API, HTML, and CSS.
Abbey joined the instructional team at App Academy after excelling in the course. I was her circle leader during her time as a student, where I noticed she was great at problem solving and quickly learning new technologies. When she joined our team, she was ready to assist students since day one. Furthermore, she always has the initiative to assist during lecture, guide the whole class through complex code walkthroughs, lead recaps at the end of the day, and debug any code that is presented. Her three biggest strengths are:

When working on our full-stack project together, I had a lot of fun and motivation working with Abbey. She's inquisitive and striving to learn more, and willing to walk through and help others also trying to understand.
